Our hotel

Located at an international airport, Landvetter Airport Hotel has been a home from home for pilots from far and wide, expectant tourists and hard-working business travelers since 1987. In contrast to the stress and noise of the airport, we offer our guests a quiet, comfortable oasis.

The hotel is family owned and, in addition to 184 stylish rooms – including a suite and family rooms, – we also offer a cozy restaurant and bar and 10 modern conference and meeting rooms. We can accommodate up to 300 conference participants in total. Thanks to our strategic location, the hotel has become a popular venue for international conferences.

As of January 1, 2018, Landvetter Airport Hotel is cash-free, better for the environment and for our safety. Faster and easier for you as a customer. We thank you for your understanding and for helping us make our work environment safer. Payment can instead be made via credit card, swish or advance payment.

Our history

Landvetter Airport Hotel was founded in 1987 by Lilian Engström who had previously run two souvenir shops in the airport terminal. After a few years, Lilian realized that overnight accommodation was in demand and that was the start of a successful journey. From the beginning there were 43 rooms, today the hotel has 184 rooms all decorated in Scandinavian style. In the hotel and in the rooms, the passion for art and design of the current owners, Lilian's son Lars-Göran and his wife Linda Engström, is reflected.

- We want our hotel to feel like a second home for our guests, explains Linda. Beautiful paintings adorn the walls and, together with textiles and designer furniture, create beautiful, homely and inspiring environments, which create warmth and joy for everyone who lives, holds conferences and visits us.

The Engström family also runs a conference facility in Gothenburg called Gårda Konferens and they own Nösund Havshotell in Orust.
